Blog Update and Blog Invitation

It is with great joy and gratitude that I can introduce you to two new contributors to the Saint Edward’s blog.

In the very near future you will read posts by John Woods and Don Harmande. When their first posts go up, some biographical info will be included.

These gentlemen are both members of this parish and we welcome their contributions. Thank you John and Don for stepping forth!

If you would like to contribute to the blog, please email me at stedwardsblog@stedwardsny.org. (please note new email address) Even if you have never written anything for publication before, please consider doing so now.

This blog can be a place to express thoughts, prayers, ideas and then have some conversation about these topics.

Write on a regular basis or simply once – the choice is yours. We hope you will take us up on this invitation to share.

If you are a member of our parish you may or may not be aware of our upcoming Advent Reflections project. This year we are inviting you to write a reflection for a day in Advent based on the readings for that day.

If you would like to know more, please visit the parish website and click on the Advent reflections page button on the left.

There you will find information about how to sign up for a reflection and how to access the readings for the chosen day. The reflections will be published on the parish website in a calendar format. If you are familiar with the Creighton Universitydaily reflections, that is the format that we are using. Go have a look if you are not; it is great!

If you have any questions about this you can also email me for information.

Thank you and peace and prayers to all!
